Environmental Standards

  • An approved Waste Management Plan is applicable in Marina Dinevi, which defines the rules for waste landfilling and treatment.
  • Do not dispose of domestic waste outside the provided containers.
  • All waste should be properly packed in impermeable waste bags.
  • Disposal or storage of waste or yacht equipment on the pier is strictly forbidden.
  • Marina Dinevi have a licensed warehouse for temporary storage of hazardous waste.
  • If you have such waste onboard, such as used oils, used filters, accumulators, dirty cloths, etc., they must be delivered for storage in compliance with the appropriate procedure, suitably packed in closed containers.
  • The port is equipped with a wastewater pump (for pumping bilge and fecal water).
  • Disposal of any liquid and solid waste in the aquatory and within the port area is strictly forbidden.
  • The use of toilets and bathrooms on board the yachts is forbidden while in port if waste water is discharged directly overboard.
  • Washing yachts in the harbor is allowed in observing the environmental regulations and in compliance with the surrounding yachts.
  • Marina Dinevi strongly recommends water saving and the use of non-aggressive, biodegradable detergents.

We strive to adhere to high environmental standards while managing the port in order to limit the impact of our activity on the environment.

This marina has been awarded the Blue Flag. In order to deserve the Blue Flag, this marina and the visiting people must meet a number of criteria related to seawater quality, environmental information and environmental education, safety, services and amenities.

The people who take care of this area strive to provide you and your family with a clean and safe harbor in a clean and preserved environment.

The Blue Flag is awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), a non-governmental organization that brings together national organizations from 49 countries in Europe, America, Africa, Oceania and the Caribbean. The Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) is represented in Bulgaria by The Bulgarian BLUE FLAG Movement.

Marina Dinevi is a longtime participant in the Blue Flag program of the International Foundation for Environmental Education. The Blue Flag is an internationally recognized eco-label for the environmentally friendly management of beaches and marinas. All program participants should cover a range of criteria in the areas of:

  • Ecological education and information
  • Environment-friendly management
  • Safety and services
  • Water quality

The Blue Flag Award is awarded annually by the Foundation for Environmental Education, a non-governmental international organization of 49 countries from Europe, America, Africa, Oceania and the Caribbean. Representative of the Foundation for Bulgaria is the Bulgarian Blue Flag Movement founded in the distant 1993.

The Bulgarian Blue Flag Movement is a non-profit, non-governmental organization working in the field of environmental education. The movement is based on a volunteer principle and over the years of its existence has won a place in the forefront of environmental organizations in Bulgaria through activities and initiatives dedicated to nature protection with a major influence in the Bulgarian schools, resorts and municipalities on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
